On August 22th in the year of 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) collaboration with Insight Investments Management Company held a Frozen food cooking entrepreneurship training which was held offline at the YIIM Office, South Jakarta. This training is one of the flagship programs of the community empowerment program which aims to improve skills and create new entrepreneurs. This training is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 1 regarding on reduce poverty and number 10 regarding on end inequality.

This training was started by the opening of Mrs. Riccana Rosita as the YIIM administrator delivered, “This frozen food entrepreneurship training is one of our programs to provide a platform for the community to improve their skills. Hopefully with this training, you can increase new knowledge and be able to start an entrepreneurship.”

This training is carried out from 10.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB. There were 15 participants who attended the frozen food cooking training, including 5 participants with disabilities, 3 participants from BAPAS inmates, and 8 participants from the communities. The participants were guided by two trainers who were alumni of YIIM frozen food training, namely Mrs. Ambar Yuliasiwi and Mrs. Susiliawati Muryani Berlian. The menus taught in the frozen food cooking training are Chicken Cordon Bleu and Banana Chocolate Lumer Croquettes.

 Participants are taught starting from giving theory by the trainer, namely the introduction of cooking ingredients, food making techniques, packaging methods for frozen food to calculating selling prices for frozen food businesses. After the theory, the participants immediately practiced making food to packaging for frozen food.

This training activity was closed by giving certificates to participants who had attended the training by Mr. Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as YIIM’s Program Manager. “Hopefully this training will be useful for all of you and after participating in this training, hopefully you will be enthusiastic to start entrepreneurship. This is not the end, but it is the beginning to a better future.”

As a non-profit organization The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development is very open to all parties who wish to support or provide donations in any form. Thus every donation given to YIIM will be channeled directly to the entitled beneficiaries.
