On Thursday, August 25, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) in collaboration with the Sub-Department for the Empowerment of Child Protection and Occupation Control (PAPP) of the South Jakarta administration, JakPreneur, and Pegadaian Company held a Webinar with the theme “Socialization of Jakpreneur Upgrading“.
This webinar was held through the ZOOM application and was attended by 50 participants consisting of among others, beneficiaries of the YIIM-assisted social entrepreneurship training alumni and MSME entrepreneurs guided by Jakpreneur under the South Jakarta PPAPP Sub-Department. This webinar is a series of events from the collaboration between YIIM and the South Jakarta City Administration which began with a meeting at the South Jakarta Mayor’s Office on June 9th in the year of 2022.
The event was opened with remarks from Drs. Fathur Rohim, M.Si (Head of South Jakarta PAPP Sub-dept.) and attended by 5 speakers, namely Mr. Chrisbiantoro, SH, LL.M (Chairman of YIIM), Mrs. Bella F. F. (Marketing Office of Pegadaian Company), Mr. Nanang Kurniawan (Assistant of Jakpreneur Pasar Minggu) , Mr. Pangestu Rahardjo (Assistant for Jakpreneur Cilandak), and Mr. Guntur Pratama P. (Assistant for Jakpreneur Pesanggrahan).
As the opening, Mr. Fathur Rohim Conveyed, “Thank you The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development, Pegadaian Company, and Jakpreneur assistants in each sub-district for the support. We dedicate this Jakpreneur socialization event to our fostered MSME players in each sub-district and assisted by YIIM may be beneficial.”
Furthermore, Mr. Chrisbiantoro conveyed, “In 2014 The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) was established. Since 2018, YIIM has started a community economic empowerment program through a social entrepreneurship program with a total number of 2,626 alumni, 71 of alumni which business implementers who are a resident of DKI Jakarta. This webinar is very benefical for our alumni to be able to take classes with the Jakpreneur program.”
Continued with Mrs. Bella’s speech “Pegadaian Company is pleased to be able to have sharing in the forum socialization Jakpreneur upgrading, we always support all efforts of MSME implementers to move forward. Incidentally, in our program there is a capital access program with low interest and no collateral that MSME actors can take advantage of.”
The resource person, Mr. Nanang Kurniawan, a representative of the Jakperenur program assistant, also conveyed, “Jakpreneur is a DKI Jakarta provincial program in facilitating and collaborating on the development of MSMEs through the entrepreneurial ecosystem. In this webinar, we will share with Jakpreneur MSMEs fostered to be able to advance to class by studying materials such as access to capital, E-orders, and halal licensing.”
This program is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in particular goal number 1 regarding to end poverty and goal number 8 regarding to Support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.
This webinar be held in two hours 08.00 WIB – 12.00 WIB, also the webinar participants learn a lot about the material for the socialization of the Jakpreneur program, access to capital, E-orders, and halal certification licensing.
By holding this webinar, YIIM is looking forward that the spirit of social entrepreneurship can foster the spirit of the wider community, especially the collaboration between civil society movements and community economic empowerment programs from the government, especially Jakpreneur, can be maintained, thus more pre-prosperous people are encouraged to become better economically.
