On Monday 21 November 2022, the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) held a humanitarian social program to assist prosthetic feet and air conditioning washing equipment for friends with disabilities who are pre-prosperous.

Assistance was given directly by Mr. Chaidir as the INSIGHT representative to Mr. Deny Haripurnama (age 47) at his residence which is located at Cipinang Kebembem Street RT 06 / RW 10 Number 2, East Pisangan, East Jakarta. In the year of 2021 Mr. Deny worked in air conditioning repair and cleaning services however due to diabetes, his leg had to be amputated. Mr. Deny has 6 (six) dependents they are 5 (five) children and a wife. In order to help her husband, the wife works as a household assistant.

Since one of his legs was amputated, he has not been able to carry out his normal activities and return to work due to the difficulty in buying custom prosthetics to fit his leg. The condition of the prosthetic leg that he had previously did not have the appropriate size so that he could not be used for normal activities. In addition, the previous prosthetic leg weighed about 2 kg, which sometimes often caused an amputated leg to become injured.

On this occasion, Mr. Chaidir delivered, “Hopefully with the help of prosthetic feet and AC washing equipment, it will be useful for Mr. Deny and his family. So Mr. Deny can return to his occupation and work again. This assistance is support from INSIGHT Investors who have been entrusted to YIIM to help people in need.”

Mr. Deny also delivered “Thank you to YIIM and INSIGHT for the assistance provided. Thanks to this assistance, I can now be comfortable with my activities again. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT will be even more successful and continue to spread inspiration to help other friends with disabilities who are less fortunate.”

This assistance program is aligned with the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1 regarding on ending poverty and number 3 regarding on a healthy and prosperous life. YIIM is very open to anyone who wants to support other social programs.
