On June 30th 2023, coinciding with commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1443 H the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) through the Humane and Religious Social Programs supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) distributed sacrificial animals worth IDR.. 25,000,000.- (twenty-five million rupiah) with the assistance of executing partners from the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS).

Assitance provided is sacrifice animal to the community in three areas was distributed to the community in the Kampung Baru area, Jl Z No. 33 RT 008/04, Sukabumi sub-district, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta, located at the An’Niimah prayer room, 3 goats were slaughtered, the second area for Qurban meat slaughtering assistance is located at the BAZNAS Office, West Java Province, Jl. Soekarno Hatta No.458, Batununggal, Bandung Kidul District, Bandung City, West Java, 3 goats were slaughtered. The distribution of Qurban animals for the third area is located at the Bantul Livestock Center, Jl. Padukuhan Srunggo 2 Selopamioro Village, Kepanewon imogiri Bantul Yogyakarta, 2 goats have been slaughtered.

This program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from INSIGHT to the community. This program is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 regarding on preventing hunger and SDGs Number 17 regarding on partnerships to achieve goals.

BAZNAS RI, in a written statement conveyed that Qurban is a social worship that has an economic dimension and aims to fulfill nutrition for mustahik/beneficiaries. Sacrifice is not only a form of personal worship that is recommended for Muslims, but also a contribution to community empowerment, especially small breeders. Kurban Berkah BAZNAS also aims to increase meat consumption for mustahik so that it can help fulfill nutrition, especially animal protein.

In the year of 2023, BAZNAS will again carry out the Sacrifice Program with the theme “BAZNAS Blessing Sacrifice”. This is the umpteenth time that BAZNAS has again been trusted by the community and muzaki, especially institutions/agencies/companies/corporations to collaborate again in carrying out the qurbani program. BAZNAS again invites to synergize and collaborate in performing qurbani, as well as channeling infaq funds and corporate CSR funds through the 2023 BAZNAS Blessings Sacrifice Program.

This program is a manifestation of the spirit of Insight Investments Management Company, namely transforming investments for good social impacts and the YIIM spirit, namely spreading inspiration to generate positive energy for the better development of Indonesia.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from all walks of life, founded by social and humanitarian activists.
