From 26th Monday to 27th Tuesday June 2023 Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company in collaboration with Taklim Indonesian Mosque Council Coordinating Section (BKMM) Bekasi City held a social entrepreneurship training program in cooking skills with the Frozen Technique Food for BKMM members of Bekasi City and the Pre-Prosperous community.

The training was held in 2 batches. The first batch of training was held on June 26th 2023 with a menu of Chicken Gordon Blue and Tofu Meatballs with 15 participants. The second batch of training was held on June 27th 2023 with a Chicken Egg Roll and Dimsum menu with 15 participants. The total participants who took part were 30 women who were members of the Bekasi City BKMM consisting of 2 representatives per sub-district in Bekasi City. The training event was held at the Diah Mandiri Toys Doll Factory Hall at Jalan Narogong KM 11.5 RT 02/RW 08, Bantargebang Village, Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi City, which was held from 09.00 to 12.30 WIB. Ms. Wanmayetti as the main trainer and Ms. Umaroch as assistant for Frozen Food cooking.

During the event, an opening activity was held which was attended by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as YIIM Chairman, Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) INSIGHT, Mrs. Siti as BKMM Bekasi City Management, and Mrs. Masyitoh as YIIM Board of Trustees.

The activity began with opening remarks from Mr. Chrisbiantoro as the Chairman of the YIIM Management. He conveyed, “We are YIIM, supported by our partners INSIGHT and this time we are holding a series of social entrepreneurship training for women of taklim assemblies of BKMM Bekasi City. Our hope is of course that you can gain knowledge and experience so that you can build self-sufficiency both in the community and individually. Hopefully this program will be useful for all people.”

Then Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as INSIGHT’s CSR Coordinator on the occasion said “according to INSIGHT’s tagline, investments to social impact invites public to invest while having a social impact on society. INSIGHT and YIIM consistently hold this kind of activities so that CSR funds can have a real impact on community self-reliance.”

Furthermore, Mrs. Siti as BKMM Bekasi City Management said, “Thank you to YIIM and INSIGHT for collaborating with BKMM Bekasi City to build an independent mentality for our members. Frozen Food training is part of a series of our collaborative program with YIIM and INSIGHT, previously we have held cooking baking training. Hopefully this training can help our fellow members to be more independent”

YIIM, INSIGHT, and BKMM Bekasi City have collaborated in this event together to hold a series of community empowerment program activity plans in the form of training on making pastries and cakes and training on cooking frozen food. In the near future, sewing training and social entrepreneurship management will be held throughout the year of 2023.

This activity is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1 regarding on fighting poverty, No. 8 regarding on decent work and economic growth, and No. regarding 17 on partnerships to achieve goals.

As a non-profit organization, YIIM is very open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Because every donation given to YIIM will be distributed directly to the rightful beneficiaries.
