On Monday 23rd January in the year of 2023, University of Bahauddin Mudhary Madura (UNIBA Madura) held the inaugural graduation for 98 first batch of students at the Campaka Building in the UNIBA Madura Campus Complex Jl Raya Lenteng No 10, Batuan, Sumenep, East Java.
The chairman of the Qudsiyah Foundation Bahaudin Mudhary, Prof. Dr. Achsanul Qosasi, CSFA., CFrA., then Regent Ra Achmad Fauzi, SH., MH., with Deputy Regent of Sumenep Hj. Dewi Khalifah, SH., MH., M.Pd.I., and UNIBA Madura partners, one of whom is a representative from the Indonesia Build Inspiration Foundation (YIIM), represented by Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as the Program Manager.
Out of the 98 students, 10 of them were scholarship recipients which was supported by Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) and Insight Investments Management Company. Out of the 10 students, 8 of them were students from Class of 2018 and 2 from Class of 2019. It should be noted that all 50 scholarship recipients from YIIM and INSIGHT.
After the inaugural Graduation Ceremony of UNIBA Madura, it was followed by a gathering of YIIM representatives with 16 students who received YIIM and INSIGHT scholarships in order to monitor achievement progress and plan collaboration with scholarship recipients.
The meeting began with an opening by Achmad Fanani Rosyidi, in his speech he conveyed:
“First, I would like to congratulate the academic community of the UNIBA Madura campus for successfully holding the first batch of inaugural graduation. Congratulations also for the graduates who have completed their studies. Especially for graduates from YIIM scholarship recipients. For YIIM scholarship recipients who are currently studying at this campus, we hope that they will continue to hone their academic abilities and get optimal achievements. We from YIIM are always ready to facilitate friends so they can continue to develop themselves.”
On the same occasion, one of the scholarship recipients named Bukhairi, a class of 2018 student, conveyed:
“I would like to thank YIIM and INISGHT for providing scholarships to me so I can complete my undergraduate studies and I have now graduated as a bachelor. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT in the future can continue to progress and be able to provide the best for the nation’s children and also the country.”
This agenda is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDGs Number 4 which aims to ensure inclusive and equal quality education, as well as support lifelong learning opportunities for all.
