Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) on Friday, August 5 in the year of 2022 held a social humanitarian program for the assistance of prayer tools and social assistance in the form of a package of prayer tools, Al-Quran, reading books, and basic necessities for orphans educated at the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School, Karawang Regency in commemorating the day orphans who fell on August 8, 2022 or 10 Muharram in 1444 Hijri.
Assistance with educational and social tools for orphans consists of 30 prayer aid packages in the form of prayer mats, Al-Quran, mukena, and sarongs. 1 package of basic necessities amounting to IDR. 2,000,000 in the form of rice, cooking oil, and indomie, 1 package of reading books for the Islamic boarding school library in the form of various Islamic reading books, children’s stories, stationery, and picture books.
The aid was distributed to 30 orphans who received scholarships from the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School at 13.00 WIB at the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School, which is located at Makmurjaya Village, Jayakerta District, Karawang Regency, West Java Province.
This program is in line with the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 1 on no poverty, number 2 on reducing poverty and number 4 on quality education.
The event was also attended by Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as YIIM Program Manager and staff also M. Rifqi Syahrizal as Chair of the Nurul Ansor Foundation, and beneficiaries of orphans educated at the Nurul Ansor Islamic boarding school.
On this occasion, Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo as the CSR Coordinator of INSIGHT conveyed “In commemorating the day of orphans which falls on August 8, 2022, we are very grateful to be able to share with orphans, especially to orphans educated at the Nurul Ansor Islamic Boarding School. The assistance was in the form of a set of prayer tools, Al-Quran, reading books, and basic necessities. This assistance is one of our concerns as part of INSIGHT’s commitment, namely transforming investments into social impact. Hopefully this assistance can provide benefits for children in need.”
Furthermore, from the YIIM representative, Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as the YIIM Program Manager said “YIIM as a partner of Insight Investments Management Company is grateful that through this program we are able to share with children who need moral and material assistance, especially for orphans. This assistance is in commemoration of the 10th of Muharram or the 8th of August in the year of 2022 which is also known as Eid for orphans. Hopefully this assistance can be useful for younger siblings and continue to inspire them to continue to do good and share with others.”
Meanwhile, M. Rifqi Syahrizal as the Chairperson of the Nurul Ansor Foundation said “We are very grateful to INSIGHT and YIIM who have distributed donations in the form of prayer and social equipment to the orphans of our education. God willing, we will make good use of this trust. And, hopefully in the future we can continue to collaborate to do good. Thank you”.
