On Thursday 9 June 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) held an audience with the Mayor of South Jakarta and the city administration at the South Jakarta Mayor’s Office, which is located at Prapanca Street Raya No. 9, RW 01, Petogogan, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta.
On this occasion, Mr. Muhammad Toib was present as the Sub-Coordinator for Tourism and Resilience, Maritime Affairs, and Agriculture of the South Jakarta Administrative City who represented the Mayor of South Jakarta, Mr. Munjirin S.SOs, M.Sc. Mr. Toib also led the hearing with YIIM.
The meeting was also attended by members of the South Jakarta city government, including representatives and leaders from each institution, namely the Assistant for the Economy and Development of the City Secretary; Sub-Department of Industry, Trade, and City KUKM; Sub-Department for Food Security, Maritime Affairs, and Municipal Agriculture; Sub-Department for Empowerment, Protection, Children, and Control of City Population; Sub-Department of Manpower, Transmigration, City Energy, Sub-Department of Tourism and Creative Economy; City Social Sub-Department; City Culture Sub-Department, City Public Works PTSP, South Jakarta District Office, City Secretary’s Economic Section.
Representatives of YIIM attended by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chair of the Foundation Management, Mrs. Dewi Astari Secretary of the Foundation, Mr. Achmad Fanani Rosyidi Manager of the Foundation Program, as well as alumni of social entrepreneurship training Mr. Ari Gusti Darmawan (YIIM Barbershop Training Alumni / Ex-Guarded Residents), Mrs. Sri Suharti (Culinary Training Alumni) YIIM / Single Parent), Mr. Aries Adriyanto (YIIM Barista Training Alumni / Friends with Disabilities with Disabilities), and community partner Mrs. Margo as chairman of the Indonesian National Paralympic Committee (NPCI) Jakarta.
The event was in the context of an audience with all levels of the South Jakarta city government leadership with YIIM, where discussions in the forum were profile socialization, economic empowerment programs, especially YIIM Social Entrepreneurship Training, and potential collaboration with the South Jakarta City Government economic empowerment program.
This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 1 to end poverty and SDGs No. 17 of the Partnership to achieve development goals.
The event began with an introduction to the YIIM program by the Chairman of the Foundation, Mr. Chrisbiantoro:
“I am very grateful for the incredible welcome by the South Jakarta city government, with the presence of all levels of agencies under the coordination of the city government. It is not complete, of course, for YIIM, which has been established since 2014 and is domiciled in South Jakarta without meeting the Mayor of South Jakarta. Hopefully this welcome will be a good start for YIIM and the municipal government thus together we can help the people of South Jakarta become more economic independent and prosperous through our empowerment programs. We hope that this hearing will result in program synergies.”
Meanwhile, Mr. Muhammad Toib as chairman of the meeting from the South Jakarta City Government welcomed YIIM’s arrival to the Mayor’s Office. He conveyed:
“Thank you to YIIM for visiting and introducing YIIM’s profile and programs. I see that YIIM’s entrepreneurship training program is in line with the objectives of the South Jakarta City Government’s economic and development programs. We are also currently overseeing the Jakpreneur program which is almost similar to the YIIM program, such as training in AC service skills, culinary arts, and others.”
YIIM is a non-profit organization formed by social and humanitarian activists and is dedicated to helping people from all walks of life. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and opened to all forms of cooperation and support as well as donations from all parties thus it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
