Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) on Monday, April 25, 2022 continue to held a series of Ramadhan Blessings, on this occasion the event was held at the Pelangi Semesta Alam Kindergarten (TK) school yard in Sumur Batu, Bantar Gebang District, Bekasi.
Activities carried out in this event included the distribution of 50 aid packages containing basic food, prayer equipment, iftar packages, and takjil. The basic food package contains sugar, cooking oil, sardines, instant noodles, a bottle of syrup and rice. Furthermore, the prayer equipment package contains a sarong, prayer rug, and mukena. Then, in addition to the aid, there was also a free shaving for elderly parents and children in the scavenger communities. The event was also attended by 50 children and 90 parents.
Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo and Mr. Andrean Malta from Insight Investments Management Company was also attending as well as the marketing and communications team of Insight Investments Management Company. This event is a routine event held by YIIM in cooperation with INSIGHT to interpret the meaning of Ramadan by sharing to and helping the less fortunate community. Although not all places can be reached, at least YIIM and INSIGHT believe that the selected locations are representative enough to hold the Ramadhan Blessing event. This event is also in line with the government’s program on the Sustainable Development Goals in particular Goal No. 2 to prevent hunger.
In his remarks, Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo representing INSIGHT conveyed “we are grateful to be able to share in the Ramdhan Blessing event, hopefully this event can help community in the Bantar Gebang TPST environment, and hopefully more people will be inspired to share with others. We are from INSIGHT through social programs with YIIM is trying to help thus it can benefit the community.”
Furthermore, from the YIIM representative, Mr. Chrisbiantoro as the chairman of the management conveyed “YIIM as a partner of Insight Investments Management Company is proud that through this program we can share with the community and spread inspiration to continue to do good and share with others.”
Meanwhile, a representative from the local community, Mr. Bagong Suyoto, conveyed “Almost all of the residents here have scavenging garbage as job to support their daily needs, even though our income is not much but it is have enough. And, we are very grateful to YIIM and Insight Investments Management Company for channeling this aid to us. This aid really helps us a lot, especially in this month of Ramadan.”
This event will be continued at several other points in the JABODETABEK area to interpret the spirit of Ramadan Full of Blessings by continuing to do good and spread the inspiration of virtue. YIIM is opened and will continue to open itself to all support and assistance so that more people can received benefit from YIIM.
