Pertamina Training & Consulting (PTC) a subsidiary of Pertamina Company (Persero) re-collaborated with Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) to hold advanced training on frozen food culinary and grow organic vegetables using hydroponic techniques.
Social and Environmental Responsibility
This program is part of the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) Pertamina Training & Consulting Company, in the year of 2022 PTC received the TJSL and CSR awards for its consistency in community empowerment.
In addition, this program is also in line with the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially goal number 1 regarding to end poverty and goal number 8 regarding to support inclusive and sustainable economic growth and decent work for all.
Since 2021, PTC and YIIM have succeeded in producing 22 frozen food culinary entrepreneurs and 9 hydroponic vegetable cultivation spread across Jakarta and surrounding areas.
The frozen food follow-up training program is held in two stages; The first online session via zoom meeting was held on Friday, September 2nd, 2022, which was attended by 17 participants from the frozen food training alumni in the year of 2021.
Of the total participants, 8 selected participants took part in the second offline session which was held for two days from 10.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB on Monday 6th September to Tuesday 7th September 2022 at the Inspirasi Coffee Shop, which is located at the Grand Wijaya Ruko Complex, Blok F 62. B, RT 06/RW 01, Pulo Village, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta City.
Beneficiary backgrounds consist of underprivileged communities, laid-off workers, unemployed, friends with disabilities, and correctional or former inmates from Jakarta, Bandung and several cities around Jakarta.
Likewise, the Hydroponics advanced training program is held in two stages; The first online session via zoom meeting was held on Monday, September 5th 2022, which was attended by 11 participants from the hydroponic training alumni in the year of 2021. Of the total participants, 8 selected participants took part in the second offline session which was held for two days from 10.00 WIB until 16.00 WIB on 7th – 8th September 2022 which is also located at the Inspirasi Coffee Shop.
The participants of these two offline trainings keep implementing the Covid-19 health protocols such as showing proof of vaccines, using masks, Covid-19 self-assessments, maintaining distance and washing hands and sterilizing equipment used in each session.

Hopefully the selected participants can take advantage of this opportunity to explore the knowledge and skills being taught.”
Training materials
The material taught in the frozen food Culinary training includes a review and deepening of last year’s training materials, Recipes for cooking Chicken Egg Roll Frozen Food, Frozen Food Dragon Legs, Melted Chocolate Banana Recipes, and materials on how to pack and calculate business capital.
In addition, participants from the hydroponic training also learned to review the basic hydroponic materials taught in last year’s training, introduction to installation, nutrition, seeding techniques, maintenance, handling of hydroponic vegetable cultivation, and hydroponic business opportunities.
