On October 10th, 2022, Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) in cooperation with the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) provided scholarships for 40 (forty) UNIBA Madura students. As of in the year of 2018, there have been a total of 50 (fifty) students from UNIBA Madura who were given educational scholarship assistance. This educational assistance also supports government programs to achieve Goals SDG’s number 4, namely the realization of equality to obtain opportunities for all levels of society to pursue higher education.

Through INSIGHT’s corporate social fund which was mandated to YIIM. Through these mandated funds, YIIM would like to realize educational equity by providing benefits to the field of education in all corners of the archipelago and improving the quality of human resources through the provision of scholarships. Educational assistance is provided to all corners of the archipelago, one of which is the Sumenep Regency, East Java. Through the Inspiration Scholarship Education Program, it provides tuition assistance for underprivileged outstanding students.

Apart from being provided with educational scholarship assistance, scholarship recipient students are also involved in campus activities such as becoming organizers of entrepreneurship and investment webinars with YIIM and INSIGHT. The webinar aims to provide education about entrepreneurship and the importance of investing to the academic community and the public (see here). This year, as many as 10 (ten) scholarship recipient students have successfully completed their undergraduate education. The ten scholarship recipients successfully graduated with a GPA above 3.00.

The scholarship assistance provided by YIIM and INSIGHT is expected to make it easier for students to study at UNIBA and become a separate motivation for students to study harder. YIIM and INSIGHT scholarship assistance education programs can create a new generation that is creative, has character, and has the spirit of future leaders. In addition, scholarship recipients who have graduated can become a chain of goodness for others.
