Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) in collaboration with Horas Hala Hita, on May, June and July in the year of 2022 gradually organized a computer training for the underprivileged people of productive age.

This program is relevant to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG number 1 regarding on reducing poverty and SDG number 4 regarding on Quality Education.

In this series of programs with the theme “improving living standards through digital literacy and computer training is gradually carried out”. The series of events were gradually carried out, in the first stage an opening ceremony was held in the form of seminar and computer training in May 2022 with 15 participants. The second stage hold in June 2022 with 20 participants. The third stage hold in July 2022 and closed with a closing ceremony in August 2022. The computer training took place in the Tanjung Priok area, North Jakarta. The beneficiaries are from the productive age group aged 18-19 years old who have just completed high school education (SMA).

The closing ceremony was attended by Dewi Astari as Secretary of the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM), Mr. Vernando Siahaan as a representative from Horas Hala Hita and companion teacher Mr. Slamet Simamora and Mr. Samsuri.

On the same occasion Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo as the CSR Coordinator of INSIGHT conveyed “We are grateful to be able to share with the underprivileged community of our younger generations. We hope that this computer training can provide benefits for younger students who need it. We are from INSIGHT, through social programs with YIIM tries to help, thus it can benefit the community. This program is part of INSIGHT’s commitment, namely transforming investments into social impact.”

Furthermore, from representative of YIIM, Ms. Dewi Astari as secretary of the YIIM management delivered “YIIM as partner of Insight Investments Management Company is proud that through this program we can provide computer science education opportunities with the public and spread inspiration to continue to do good and share with others.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Vernando Siahaan delivered “Thank you to INSIGHT and YIIM for working with us, Horas Hala Hita. We hope that this collaboration can help our younger generations in their needs. Thank you”
