August 25th of 2022, located in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa District, South Jakarta, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) through the Social Humanitarian and Religious Program supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) provided medical equipment assistance to 20 beneficiaries whose backgrounds of war veteran fighters, surviving wives of war veterans, and retired army soldiers.
YIIM and INSIGHT distributed medical equipment assistance supported by partner from the Alliance for Residents of State Housing (APRN) and the Elderly integrated service post in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa, district, South Jakarta.
The assistance was given to 20 beneficiaries consisting of 8 war veteran fighters, 10 surviving wives of war veteran, 2 retired army soldiers. List of medical support equipment assistance: 1 Leg Walking Sticks 3 pieces, 3 Legs walking Sticks 4 pieces, 5 glasses, 5 wheelchairs, 2 Omron Nebulizers, 4 Omron digital tensioners, 2 oxygen cylinders, 2 hearing aids, 1 folding chairs, and 10 sets of blood sugar checks.
This program is in line with the agenda of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) number 1regarding on no poverty, number 2 regarding on reducing poverty.
On this occasion, Mr. Suluh T Rahardjo as a CSR Coordinator of INSIGHT delivered “In commemorating Indonesia’s independence day which falls on August 17th 2022, we are very grateful to be able to share with war veteran fighters, surviving wives of war veterans, and retired Army soldiers. The assistance is in the form of a set of health support equipment such as oxygen cylinders, wheelchairs, cane walking sticks, etc. This assistance is part of INSIGHT’s commitment to transforming investments into social impact. Hopefully, this assistance can provide benefits for children in need.”
Furthermore, from the YIIM representative, Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as the YIIM Program Manager conveyed “YIIM as a partner of Insight Investments Management Company is grateful that through this program we can share with war veterans. This assistance is in commemoration of August 17th Indonesia’s independence day, Hopefully with this assistance it can be useful.”
Meanwhile, I Made Rampeg, one of the veteran fighters who received the aid conveyed “We are very grateful to INSIGHT and YIIM who have distributed the aid of medical support equipment. We are very grateful and this tool is very useful for us.”
Hopefully this assistance will inspire the wider community to continue to care for the freedom fighters and retired soldiers as a form of appreciation for their services in maintaining the integrity of the country and fighting for independence.
