On Tuesday 26 April 2022, as part of the “Ramadan Blessing Let’s Inspire Together” program, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Management Company provided humanitarian social aid packages for iftar and donations to orphans in the Kebayoran Baru district. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in particular SDGs Number 2 of the zero hunger and SDGs Number 17 of the partnerships for the goals.
A total of 50 iftar packages, consists of takjil packages and food were distributed to informal workers and online motorcycle taxi drivers around YIIM’s office in Grand Wijaya Centre, South Jakarta. In addition to the distribution of iftar packages, free haircuts were also held for residents and online motorcycle taxi drivers. Free haircuts were carried out by Mr. Hermanto and Mr. Ageng Patmoko, who are alumni of YIIM and INSIGHT barber training as a form of social service to the community. In addition, the iftar packages were cooked by Mrs. Wanmayetti, alumni of the cooking training in the year of 2019 and Mrs. Sainah, the alumni of cooking training in the year of 2021.
On the same day YIIM supported by INSIGHT also provided 50 iftar packages and social aid for 15 orphans. The donation ceremony was given directly by YIIM representatives to the Chair of the Mosque Welfare Council (DKM) Masjid Nurul Mubin, Petogogan Street I Gang II, RT 10 RW 11, RT.1/RW.12, North Gandaria, Kec. Kby. New, South Jakarta City.
In this series of Ramadan programs, an iftar event was also held with YIIM administrators, supervisors, and coaches as well as donors and partners. Meanwhile, the representatives of INSIGHT were attended by Mrs. Arin. Whereas, from the YIIM side, besides being attended by the chairman Mr. Chrisbiantoro, it was also attended by YIIM Supervisor Mrs. Inka Sarina Melayu and YIIM coaches Mrs. Dr. Mery T.P. Hutagalung and Mr. Ghufran Ilman Maliki.A.
The event was also attended by partners and donors they were Plantation Pension Fund (DAPENBUN), the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK), and the Indonesian Thalassemia Foundation (YTI). This iftar event was attended by representatives of the alumni of the YIIM and INSIGHT entrepreneurship classes which are the barista class alumni, barber class alumni, culinary class alumni, and makeup class alumni.
The event started with remarks from the Chairman of YIIM, Chrisbiantoro. In his remarks Mr. Chrisbiantoro conveyed, “YIIM thanks to INSIGHT as the main partner and other partners who continue to believe in and support humanitarian programs, especially in this month of Ramadan. The Ramadhan Blessing Program is a routine program held by YIIM every year to share with others. May YIIM continues to spread kindness, provide benefits, and inspire through our programs.”
YIIM is a non-profit organization established by social and humanitarian activists and it is dedicated to support people from various backgrounds. To realize this goal, YIIM is welcome to all forms of cooperation and support as well as donations from all parties therefore more aid can be distributed to beneficiaries in need of social aid.
