Yiim And Insight Provide Support In The Form Of Collaboration Actions To Alleviate Stunting in Baduy And the Inauguration Of RSUI Telemonitoring

On Saturday, January 7th in the year of 2023, the Baduy Stunting Alleviation Collaborative Action was carried out. This activity is part of monitoring the reduction of stunting which will last for the next 12 months in the Baduy area.

The follow-up activity for the Stunting Collaborative Action is located at SDN 2 BOJONGMENTENG Kp. Ciboleger, Bojong Menteng, Kec. Leuwidamar, Kab. Lebak Prov. Banten. Attended by Mr. Firdaus Rosean Rony as Director of the Telemonitoring Project, Mr. Arry Yanuar as Professor Dean of Pharmacy Indonesia University. Mr. Alhadi Bustamam as Head of the Retina Fundus Project, Mr. Dede Herdiansyah as Head of the Cisimeut Health Center, Mr. Jaro Saija Baduy as Traditional Leader, Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as the INSIGHT CSR Coordinator, Mrs. Riccana Rosita as YIIM administrator

A symbolic handover of the ultrasound device, digital TBB, was carried out by Mr. Dede. He conveyed, “Thank you very much to the parties who organized the collaboration activities to eradicate baduy stunting. It should be noted that from the data of Cisimeut Health Center in the year of 2022, as many as 5 pregnant women died and 4 people were in the Baduy area. We hope that this support will continue, and hopefully the benefits will be good impact for Baduy community in particular or the Cisiemut Community Health Center in general. Thank you also to INSIGHT and YIIM who have participated and supported the follow-up activities of the stunting collaboration.”

After the ceremony was completed, the examination process continued for pregnant women, examination of children, and examination of the retina of the eye. The examination is divided into 2 rooms, an examination room for pregnant women and a children’s examination room as well as an examination of the retina of the eye. Examination of pregnant women was carried out by the midwife Eros Rosita (midwife in the Baduy region) and the team using the ultrasound equipment that had been provided. As many as 21 pregnant women from the Baduy community and the general public conducted the examination. For retinal examinations, as many as 12 people and one of them Jaro Saija as the Head of Baduy Village, had their health checked by a team from Retina fundus stunting at RSUI. Then examination of children such as measuring height and measuring weight using digital scales. A total of 14 children have been examined.

This Humane Social Program is a form of concern and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Insight Investments Management (INSIGHT) which was entrusted to the Inspiration Indonesia Build Foundation (YIIM) in collaboration with Indonesia Business Advisory Company and Digital Healthy Indonesia Company provided sponsorship in the form of support in the Collaborative Action to Alleviate Stunting Baduy and the Inauguration of the University of Indonesia Hospital (RSUI) Telemonitoring.

Previously, on 4th – 5th October in the year of 2022, following directions from Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, regarding the challenge of creating a service assisted by supervision by RSUI on the border of Outer Baduy and Inner Baduy, Banten. On October 5th in the year of 2022 at the opening of the event attended by Mr. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Mrs. Destry Damayanti from DGS Bank Indonesia, a series of activities including the implementation of free health services in the form of health checks, anthropometric measurements, health education, lab tests, distribution of basic necessities and administration of medicines medicine. Then proceed with a visit to the local traditional jaro.

The purpose of carrying out this activity is to improve the health status of the Indonesian people through the provision of stunting health services to children and pregnant women. Meanwhile, the specific objectives are: to reduce the incidence of malnutrition, to provide optimal nutrition health check-up services for Baduy residents and their surroundings, and to provide optimal and maximum growth and development accompanied by emotional, social and physical abilities that are ready to learn, and able to innovate and compete at the global level for children in Baduy.

The social and humanitarian programs are also in line with Sustainable Development Goals number 3 concerning a healthy and prosperous life. And we are very open to anyone who wants to collaborate and support other social programs.
