On Monday 3rd April in the year of 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) held an iftar assistance to the residents of the railside area at the Al-Istiqomah Mosque located at Pejompongan Raya Street, Bendungan Hilir Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province. The iftar assistance program implemented is a series of YIM’s Ramadhan program with INSIGHT “Spreading Inspiration in the Holy Month of Ramadan”.

The social assistance provided by YIIM and INSIGHT was in the form of 50 rice box packages and 50 takjil packages. Procurement of iftar packages cooked by Ms. Yulianti, one of the YIIM and INSIGH culinary training alumni in they eyar of 2022. The handover of assistance was given directly by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as YIIM Chairperson to Ustad Ilo as the representative of the Al-Istiqomah Mosque management. The event was attended by approximately 50 people consisting of orphans and pre-prosperous  community and residents around the mosque. The event starts at 17.00 WIB until finished.

This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 on preventing hunger.

Ustadz Ilo as the caretaker of the mosque in his remarks expressed his gratitude and gratitude for organizing this Ramadan blessing event. “Thank you to the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development and Insight Investments Management Company for providing iftar package assistance to residents. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to help, especially for people who are less fortunate and really need it. Hopefully the assistance given will be a blessing for everyone.”

During the month of Ramadan, YIIM and INSIGHT held several social activities, namely the distribution of takjil and rice boxes for informal workers and underprivileged people or orphans and the pre-prosperous, free hair cutting and free air-conditioning for mosques, Islamic boarding schools or orphanages, and online fast Islamic boarding school program.

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party thus more and more people will benefit from YIIM’s programs and wider inspiration can be spread by YIIM inn order to help in the development of Indonesia.
