Monday, November 21st 2022 there was a 5.6 magnitude earthquake in Cianjur Regency, West Java with victims; 327 people died and residents who are still displaced reach 109,386 people or 39,521 families (Source: BNPB). Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) and Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) with the assistance of implementing partner LAZ Al Maghfirah distributed social assistance to earthquake victims in Cianjur Regency.

On November 24th 2020, aid was distributed to evacuees of the Cianjur earthquake in the amount of IDR. 15,000,000.- (fifteen million rupiah). The assistance was distributed to public kitchen programs, evacuee tent programs, and emergency tarpaulin and mosque assistance. Public kitchens provide 600 servings of lunch and dinner for the evacuees every day. The locations for the distribution of aid were at the Main Post of Kampung Babakan Renyom, Nagrak Village, Cianjur District and the Mabdaussyaadah Islamic Boarding School, Babakan Renyom, Nagrak Village, Cianjur District. A total of 4,540 beneficiaries of the Cianjur INSIGHT, YIIM earthquake response program together with LAZ Al Maghfirah.

This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs number 1 on poverty reduction, number 2 on reducing poverty, and number 17 on partnerships to achieve goals. The humanitarian social program in response to the Cianjur earthquake disaster is a form of concern and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) from INSIGHT which was assigned to YIIM.

YIIM is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people from all walks of life, founded by social and humanitarian activists. To realize this goal, YIIM is open and opened to all forms of cooperation and support as well as donations from all walks of life so that it can be distributed to beneficiaries in need.
