On 18th April 2023, the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) in collaboration with Genta Saraswati School, Gianyar, Bali and supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) in commemoration of Earth Day on April 22nd of 2023 held assistance for planting tree seedlings in the Monkey River Kemenuh environment, Gianyar Regency, Bali. This activity also collaborated with the Education and Culture Office and the Gianyar Regency Government Environment Service
Under the theme “An Action to Safe the Earth (We Love, We Care, We Safe)”. A total of 200 tree seeds would be planted by students from the Genta Saraswati School. This activity also intends to provide knowledge to the younger generation about the importance of preserving the environment. The planting was carried out around the Kemenuh Monkey River Gianyar area. The beneficiaries of this activity were the Kemenuh Village community around the Kemenuh River Gianyar area. This environmental preservation program is a form of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or corporate social responsibility (CSR) from INSIGHT to the community. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 5 concerning terrestrial ecosystems and SDGs Number 17 partnerships to achieve goals.
The ceremony of handing over the tree seedlings was attended by Prof. Dr. dr. Anak Agung Ngurah Subawa, M. The Head of Trustees of the PR Saraswati Denpasar Foundation, I Gd. Putu Ngurah Yudiatmika, S. Pt, M. M Superintendent of the PR Saraswati Denpasar Foundation, A. A Gde Waisnawa Putra S. H.,. Mm Chairperson of the PR Saraswati Gianyar Foundation, AA Wisnu Wardhana as Main Commissioner of Insight Investments Management Company, Ida Bagus Nyoman Parta as Head of the Kemenuh Hamlet, Ida Bagus Made Witara as Chair of Bupda / Management of Monkey River Destinations, Bendesa and traditional leaders of the Kemenuh traditional village.
The event started at 08.30 WITA starting with a tree seedling ceremony by A. A Gde Waisnawa Putra S. H.,. Mm Head of PR Saraswati Gianyar Foundation Head of Saraswati Gianyar Foundation to representatives of Kemenuh Monkey River Gianyar.
In his remarks, A. A Gede Waisnawa Putra S. H.,. Mm The Chairperson of the PR Saraswati Gianyar Foundation conveyed “Thank you to INSIGHT and YIIM which have supported environmental preservation activities in the Gianyar area. Hopefully the activities carried out will benefit the students of the Genta Saraswati Gianyar School so they can protect the environment and can inspire other communities. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to inspire the people of Indonesia.”
The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development as a non-profit organization is open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Thus every donation given to YIIM will be directly distributed to beneficiaries who are in need and less fortunate.
