GROW INSPIRATION: YIIM and INSIGHT Provide Ramadhan Assistance For Orphans of the Nurul Yatama Foundation, Pondok Pinang, Jakarta Selatan

On Saturday 15th April 2023 The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) held Ramadan social assistance to orphans and the pre-prosperous at the Nurul Yatama Foundation (YNY) at Jami An’Nur Mosque, Pondok Pinang, South Jakarta. This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 regarding on preventing hunger.

The Ramadhan social assistance given to 35 orphans and the pre-prosperous, assistance was in the form of 35 iftar packages containing rice boxes and takjil, 35 snacks, 35 packages of prayer items in the form of mukenas, Al Qur’an, caps, sarongs, iqro and bags.

The procurement of 35 iftar packages was ordered through one of YIIM’s cooking training alumni in the year of 2019, Mrs. Siti Mulyati. By involving YIIM training alumni in this program, it is hoped that it can help increase the sales turnover of alumni who have opened businesses.

The assistance was handed over directly by Ms. Dewi Astari as the YIIM Administrator to Ustadz. Drs H. Baihaqi Madani, MPd.I as Chairman of the YNY Foundation

In her remarks, Mrs. Dewi Astari said,

“This assistance is part of a series of Ramadan programs in the year of 2023, since the beginning of Ramadan YIIM in cooperation with INSIGHT has been providing in the Greater Jakarta area and Aceh Province. Hopefully the assistance provided will benefit and inspire people to be able to help others.”

Ustadz. Drs H. Baihaqi Madani, MPd.I as Chair of the YNY Foundation conveyed,

“The Nurul Yatama Foundation would like to thank the assistance provided by YIIM and INSIGHT for the 35 orphans under our foundation’s care. The worship equipment that they received will bring the donors to heaven, may Allah give them health and ease of all activities and businesses that are carried out and always be blessed with blessings and guidance, Aamiin ya Robbalalamin. Not forgetting, we also want to thank you for your presence and participation in this recitation activity with orphans, I hope the donors of this event can inspire other parties to be able to share with orphans.”

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more and more people will benefit from YIIM’s programs and wider inspiration can be spread by YIIM in order to help develop Indonesia.
