On 4th August 2023, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development in collaboration with the Kauny Quran Academy, held training on the Kauny method of Al-Quran Teacher Certification and Standardization. Held for two days of offline training from 26th to 27th August 2023 at the SMPIT Al-Huda Hall which is located at Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani Tanjung Harapan, East Sebatik District, Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan Province.

This training was attended by 30 people who work as Al-Quran teachers from the Islamic School, Kindergarten (TK), Al-Quran Study Park (TPA), and women from the Assembly in the Indonesian border region, East Sebatik District. The implementation of this program is part of INSIGHT’s commitment to carrying out Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, namely by setting aside a portion of profits to support social and humanitarian programs, one of which is educational programs.

Apart from that, this program is a manifestation of the spirit of “Transforming Investments Into Social Impact”, namely bringing investments that have a positive impact on social change and progress.

Ustad Asep Suryana said “Fellow participants were able to take part in the Al-Quran Teacher standardization training very well, thank God, in a short time they were able to memorize Surah Ar-Rahman verses 1-16. After this offline training, we will continue to monitor it by holding online training sessions via Zoom. Thank you YIIM and INSIGHT for helping us carry out this training to remote areas bordering Sebatik Island.”

On another occasion, Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the Management of YIIM said, “Standardization training for Al-Quran teachers is a form of commitment from YIIM and Insight Investments Management Company, we hope this training will provide benefits and have a positive impact on social change and progress.”

Furthermore, Mr. Burhanuddin as chairman of the Al-Huda Foundation in his speech said, “I would like to thank INSIGHT and YIIM for choosing Sebatik Island as the location for the program. “The participants were very enthusiastic, in just a few hours the participants were able to memorize Noah’s letter.”

As a follow-up plan, Kauny Quran Academy along with YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to oversee the standardization teaching and learning process for Al-Quran teachers using the Kauny method through zoom meetings held periodically.

This activity is in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve goals. As a non-profit organization, YIIM is very open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Because every donation given to YIIM will be distributed directly to the rightful beneficiaries.
