The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) distributed basic food assistance packages to Inong Carong Aceh assisted members in Darul Kamal District, Aceh Besar District, Naggore Aceh Darussalam Province on Saturday April 15th in the year of 2023.

This activity is part of a series of Inspirational programs in the Holy Month of Ramadhan organized by YIIM and INSIGHT. This program is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 regarding on preventing hunger.

Inong Carong Aceh is a women’s community group sheltering women heads of families, single parent mothers who come from underprivileged families, some of whom are elderly. They have to take on a dual role in their family, both are to make a living and also take care of the family.

The basic food assistance provided consisted of 70 basic food packages in the form of rice, sugar, eggs, instant noodles, cooking oil and soap. The assistance was handed over directly by the management of Inong Carong Aceh to 70 assisted people from Inong Carong Aceh who came from several villages, namely Lamsod, Empetrieng, Lamtadok, and Lamkunyet in the Darul Kamal sub-district, Aceh Besar.

On the same occasion Mr. Chrisbiantoro as the chairman of the YIIM board conveyed:

“In order to welcome blessings in the holy month of Ramadan in the year of 2023, YIIM and INSIGHT are organizing a basic food assistance program for underprivileged community in areas that are difficult to access, namely in Aceh Besar District in collaboration with the local community of Inong Carong Aceh. Hopefully this assistance can at least help the basic needs of mothers in the region.”

Mr. Isnaeni Setiawan as Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Insight Investments Management Company has delivered:

“The social assistance program for delivering groceries to Inong Carong Aceh members is part of the social action program carried out in the month of Ramadan by Insight Investments Management Company, according to our company’s tagline ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. We invite people to save as well as give charity, according to our company’s mission. Hopefully, with this assistance, we can at least help the food for the pre-prosperous people in the Aceh Besar region.”

Mrs. Ainal Mardiah as a companion from the Inong Carong Aceh group has conveyed:

“This Ramadan package assistance is very useful for them ahead of this Eid al-Fitr amidst the increasingly expensive prices of basic foodstuffs. We thank the Leaders and Management of YIIM for their support and concern for the women from underprivileged families whom we have assisted so far.”

In 2023, YIIM and INSIGHT are holding a Ramadan program with the theme “Spreading Inspiration in the Holy Month of Ramadan” and has been implemented in several locations in the Jabodetabek area, namely in the province of DKI Jakarta, Depok City, Bekasi Regency/City, Bogor Regency, and South Tangerang. Where various forms of activities to be carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, compensation, groceries, worship equipment, free washing and air conditioning services at mosques and orphanages, and free hair cuts.

YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with various parties so that more people can benefit from YIIM’s programs and the wider inspiration that YIIM can spread in order to help Indonesia.
