The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) organized social assistance packages of Ramdahan gifts and compensation for orphans and the pre-prosperous at the Intifa Ikhwaniyah Orphanage, which is located at Jalan Pusdiklat Dipnaker, RT 18/RW 01, Pinang Village Ranti, Makassar District, East Jakarta on Wednesday 12th April 2023.
The Ramadhan social assistance is in the form of 30 iftar packages containing 30 rice box packages and 30 takjil packages; 30 donations for orphans and pre-prosperous people; 30 snack packs containing milk, biscuits and cookies; 30 packages of worship equipment containing mukenas, Al-Quran, caps, iqro’ books, and sarongs; and 3 basic food packages containing rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, sugar and soap. The assistance was given to 30 orphans and poor people who were residents of the Intifa Ikhwaniyah Orphanage.
This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 regarding on preventing hunger.
During the Ramadan social assistance handover ceremony, there were also; as Ustadzah Muslikha as caretaker of the Intifa Ikhwaniyah Orphanage, Adrean Malta as Head of Retail INSIGHT, Isnaeni Setiawan as Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) INSIGHT, and Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of the YIIM Management.
In his remarks Andrean Malta as Head of Retail Insight Investments Management Company conveyed:
“Thank you to the Intifa management and the Orphanage who welcomed us well. The Ramadhan social assistance program is part of the social action program carried out in the month of Ramadan by Insight Investments Management Company, according to our company’s tagline ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. Our mission is to invite people to save and give charity at the same time.”
On the same occasion, Mr. Chrisbiantoro delivered:
“YIIM are partners with INSIGHT, a portion of our sales profits are channeled to the community in the form of social empowerment programs. Hopefully with this assistance it can be useful for the needs of younger children, especially in this month of Ramadan.”
Meanwhile Muslikha in her speech expressed her gratitude and response for the event.
“We are very grateful to INSIGHT and YIIM for providing assistance in the form of Ramadan gifts and compensation. This assistance is very useful for us. May the donors be given abundant fortune and smoothness in all matters. Amen”
This Ramadhan Blessing Assistance Program is a series of Ramadan programs for 2023 which has the tagline “Spreading Inspiration in the Holy Month of Ramadan” which has been held at many points in the Jabodetabek area, namely in the province of DKI Jakarta, Depok City, Bekasi Regency/City, Bogor Regency, and South Tangerang. Where various forms of activities that will be carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, compensation, groceries, worship equipment, free washing and air conditioning services at mosques and orphanages, and free hair cuts.
YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party so that more and more people will benefit from YIIM’s programs and wider inspiration can be spread by YIIM in order to help developing Indonesia.
