On December 26th in the year of 2022, as a form of concern and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) turns investment into social impact. Entrusting Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun/the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM), through the Humanitarian and Religious Social Program to provide assistance in the form of donations to the mass circumcision humanitarian social program for orphans and pre-prosperous. This activity is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs number 3 regarding a healthy life and supporting prosperity for all for all ages and number 17 concerning partnerships to achieve goals.

YIIM, supported by INSIGHT, and partners from the Krakatau Steel Welfare Management Agency (BAPELKES) carried out a mass circumcision activity located at the Jatiendah Medika Clinic, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency. As many as 25 children from pre-prosperous and orphaned families received mass circumcision assistance.

The activity began with remarks by Mr. Suriadi Arif as the Director of Bapelkes KS, he conveyed “Through the inauguration of the Jatiendah Medika Clinic and also the implementation of this mass circumcision activity, I hope it might helpful. We also say our gratitude to Insight Investments Management Company and also YIIM who assist this humanitarian social activity. Hopefully Bapelkes KS, INSIGHT, and YIIM can work together in goodness for the welfare of people in need.”

After the remarks, the circumcision process was continued by 6 health workers from the Jatiendah Medika Clinic. In addition to giving free circumcision, gifts were also given to the participants of the circumcision. Families of the circumcision participants said that the event organized by INSIGHT and YIIM cooperation with Bapelkes KS was very useful and helpful for parents who cannot afford a circumcision. Hopefully in the future the same activity can be held again.

YIIM with the support from INSIGHT continues to be committed to spreading inspiration to various regions in Indonesia. YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to all parties who wish to support or make donations in any form. Because every donation given to YIIM will be distributed directly to the beneficiaries who are entitled and less fortunate. Hopefully with this assistance can inspire people to share with each other.
