On Tuesday, July 5, 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) held a meeting and gathering with the Sub-Department for Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) of the South Jakarta City Administration and staff.
On this occasion, Mr. Sukendri Winantu Raharjo was present as the Head of the Community Empowerment Section of the PPAPP Sub-department of South Jakarta Administration and his staff. Meanwhile, from YIIM represented by Mrs. Riccana Rosita as Program Treasurer of YIIM, Mr.Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as Program Manager, and Mrs. Ratih Puspita as YIIM program staff.
The event was held at the PAPP Sub-Department Office which is located at Siaga Street 1, No. 1a, RW 03/RT 05, Pejaten Barat Village, Pasar Minggu Subdistrict, South Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta.
The meeting was one of the follow-up agendas of the results from YIIM’s previous hearing with the Mayor of South Jakarta in order to strengthen the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for YIIM-assisted entrepreneurship training alumni. This agenda is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDGs Number 17 of the Partnership to achieve development goals. The meeting began with an introduction from Mr. Sukendri Winantu Raharjo as Head of the Community Empowerment Section of the PPAPP Sub-department of South Jakarta Administration, he said:
“We are very grateful for the visit from YIIM after the hearing at the South Jakarta Mayor’s office. Hopefully this gathering will be the gateway for collaboration and cooperation with our agencies thus they can be cooperate to strengthen YIIM-assisted MSME implementers.”
On the same occasion, Mrs. Riccana Rosita as the representative of the YIIM Management conveyed:
“Thank you to Mr. Kendri as Head of Sub-dept. PPAPP for the great welcome. Hopefully, this meeting will strengthen the cooperation between YIIM agencies and the South Jakarta city government thus they jointly oversee the assistance for YIIM-assisted MSME implementers.”
This meeting is part of YIIM’s efforts as a civil society organization to continue to synergize with the government to support developing Indonesia, especially the empowerment of small and micro businesses within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) Number 17, namely Partnerships to Achieve Goals.
YIIM also has quite good experience collaborating with nation institutions, especially in the last 3 years including the Correctional Center and the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK). All of these activities are aimed at strengthening the economic empowerment of micro, small and medium enterprises.
