On Friday 7th October 2022, Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) held a meeting and gathering with the Agency for the Empowerment of Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) for the Special Capital Region of Jakarta (DKI).
Who have been present on this occasion are Mr. Jainudin as the Head of the General Section of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PPAPP Service, Mr. Syaifulloh as the Manager of Jakpreneur, along with the staff. Meanwhile, from YIIM represented by Mr. Chrisbiantoro as Chairman of YIIM Management, Mrs. Dewi Astari as Secretary of YIIM Management, Mr. Achmad Fanani Rosyidi as Program Manager, and Ratih Puspita as YIIM program staff. In addition, YIIM assisted MSME actors including Humam Hasan (Head of Inspiration Coffee Barista), Gusti Darmawan (Owner of Jago Pangkas Barbershop), and Aries Adryanto (Owner of Warkop Uhuyy).
The event was held at the DKI Jakarta PAPP Office, which is located at Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Lot 64 By Pass RT 02/RW 07, Cempaka Putih Timur Village, Cempaka Putih District, Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta.
The meeting is a series of follow-up agendas from the results of YIIM’s previous hearing with the Mayor of South Jakarta on Thursday 9th June 2022 which can be accessed HERE. This was followed by a meeting with the South Jakarta City Administration PPAPP Sub-dept. on Tuesday, 5th July 2022, which can be accessed HERE. The meeting was to strengthen the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) for YIIM-assisted entrepreneurship training alumni. This agenda is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) SDGs No. 17 of the Partnership to achieve development goals.
The meeting began with an introduction from Mr. Jainudin as Head of the General Section of the DKI Jakarta Provincial PPAPP Service, he said:
“We are very grateful for the visit from YIIM. We have similarities in the agenda of strengthening MSME actors. Hopefully this meeting will be an opening meeting for collaboration and cooperation with our agencies so that we can work together.”
On the same occasion Mr. Chrisbiantoro as the Chairman of YIIM conveyed:
“Thank you for accepting our visit at the DKI Jakarta PPAPP Service. Previously, we had a meeting with the South Jakarta City Government. Thus communication is more established, connected with the PPAPP service to this day. There are already several agendas that we have collaborated with the South Jakarta PPAPP sub-department. And the meeting with the DKI Jakarta PPAPP office will further strengthen our work.”
This meeting is part of YIIM’s movements as a civil society organization to continue to synergize with the government to support Indonesia’s development, especially the empowerment of small and micro businesses within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals (TPB) Number 17, namely Partnerships to Achieve Goals.
