Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT), on Thursday 28 April 2022 distributed aid packages for iftar of Ramadan, free haircut, and AC services. The aid was distributed to orphans, poor people, and the community around the Al Firdausy Mosque, which is located at Mungur Indah Street, Rawakalong Village, Gunung Sindur District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province.
The Ramadan activities consisted of 200 packages of iftar containing rice boxes and takjil, free haircut for 14 poor orphans, and 3 AC cleaning for the mosque. The 200 iftar packages were distributed to orphans, poor people, marbots and mosque administrators and the community around the mosque.
This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 on Preventing hunger.
The event was attended by the Treasurer of YIIM, Mrs. Riccana Rosita and the staff. In addition, the event was also present Cleric Hendi Abdullah, as the Chairman of the Al Firdausy Gunung Sindur Mosque and Mr. H Sahid as the Chair of the Prosperity Council of the Al Firdausy Gunung Sindur Mosque. The event was attended by 15 orphans and poor people, 10 administrators, and the community. The event began with remarks from representatives of each institution, the completion of the Al-Quran, and implementation of iftar.
On this occasion, Mr. Suluh Rahardjo Tripambudi as the Coordinator of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Insight Investments Management Company conveyed:
“The Ramadhan blessing aid program in the form of iftar packages for the surrounding community and the administrator or marbot of the Al Firdausy Mosque accompanied by free haircut and free AC cleaning for mosque is part of the social action program carried out in the month of Ramadan by Insight Investments Management Company in cooperation with YIIM, according to our company tagline ‘Transforming Investment To Social Impact’. Hopefully with this aid, at least it can lighten the burden and hopefully it can be useful for the surrounding community.”
In her remarks, Mrs. Riccana Rosita as Treasurer of YIIM conveyed:
“The honorable members of the congregation and the administrators of the Al Firdausy mosque. Thank you for the kind welcome to this event. The Ramadhan blessing aid program is part of a series of programs organized by YIIM with the support of Insight Investments Management Company. Hopefully with this aid, it can provide blessings and benefits to local residents and mosque administrators.”
Meanwhile, Cleric Hendi Abdullah as the chairman of the Al Firdausy Mosque in his speech expressed his gratitude for the organization of this Ramadan blessing aid event.
“Thank you to YIIM and Insight Investments Management Company, which have provided assistance in the form of iftar packages, free haircut, and free AC cleaning for Al Firdausy Mosque Congregation. Hopefully this aid can provide benefits and blessings. Amen.”
This Ramadan Blessing Aid Program is a series of programs for the month of Ramadan in the year of 2022 which has the tagline “Ramadan Blessing, Let’s inspire together” and is planned to be held at 6 (six) points in the Greater Jakarta area, namely in South Jakarta, Depok, Bekasi, Bogor Regency, South Tangerang, and Tangerang Regency. Which various forms of activities carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, basic necessities, worship equipment, free AC cleaning and service at mosques and orphanages, and free haircuts.
YIIM as a non-profit organization opens itself to support and cooperation with any parties in order to make more people receives benefit from YIIM’s programs and YIIM can spread more inspiration to help in developing Indonesia.
