The Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development, also known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM), with the support of Insight Investments Management Company (PT INSIGHT), held the GEMPITA Ramadhan program on Tuesday, March 18, 2024, at Bina Dakwah An-Nashr in South Jakarta. This event provided support and iftar packages to orphans under the foundation’s care.

A total of 15 orphans aged 8 to 16 years old, ranging from elementary to high school, got aid in the form of iftar packages and Ramadan parcels comprising snacks, milk, and cookies. Mrs. Siti Mulyati, the administrator of Bina Dakwah An-Nashr, received symbolic help.

Maria Dewi Yanti, Secretary of YIIM and Mrs. Siti Mulyati, Bina Dakwah An-Nashr’s administrator, also attended the occasion.

Maria Dewi Yanti stated in her speech that the GEMPITA Ramadhan program is a type of concern that YIIM and its partners carry out on an annual basis. 

“We hope that this aid will help all of you; thank you to everyone who has contributed to our program.”

Meanwhile, Siti Mulyati expressed her appreciation for the assistance provided to the youngsters at Bina Dakwah An-Nashr.

“We are really grateful to the Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun and PT Insight Investments Management for their assistance. This means a lot to us, and we hope this goodwill continues for the community in need.”

The activities ran well and cheerfully. The orphans happily participated in the various activities, and a sense of community persisted throughout the event until all of the assistance was provided.

In addition to bringing direct benefits to the community, this activity is part of YIIM’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in terms of hunger reduction (SDG No. 2) and establishing partnerships for the common good (SDG No. 17).

YIIM expects that GEMPITA Ramadan will develop a spirit of sharing and mutual cooperation in the community. With this spirit, it is hoped that more parties would be inspired to engage in social initiatives that help others.
