On Thursday 13rd April in the year of 2023 Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun or known as the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development (YIIM) supported by Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) held Ramadan social assistance to orphans and underprivileged at the Rahmansyah Orphanage located at Kota Legenda Street No. 89 Jatimulya Village, South Tambun District, Bekasi Regency. This event is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, especially SDGs Number 2 regarding on preventing hunger.
The Ramadhan social assistance provided to 20 orphans and underpriviliged people from the Rahmansyah Orphanage in the form of 30 iftar packages containing rice boxes and takjil, compensation for 20 children, 20 packages of worship items in the form of mukenas, Al Qur’an, caps, sarongs, iqro and bags, as well as 2 basic food packages in the form of rice, instant noodles, eggs, sugar, cooking oil and bath soap.
The procurement of 30 iftar packages was ordered through one of YIIM’s cooking training alumni in the year of 2021, Mrs. Umaroch. By involving YIIM training alumni in this program, it is hoped that it can help increase the sales turnover of alumni who have opened businesses.
In addition to handing over the breaking of the fast packages, worship equipment, and basic food packages, in this activity YIIM and INSIGHT held a free hair cutting service involving barber training alumni, Gusti Darmawan. It was recorded that 6 children from the orphanage had the opportunity to get their hair cut for free.
The event was attended by Mr. Haris as administrator of the Rahmansyah Orphanage, Reyhan Adinugraha as Retail Sales, Distribution and Business Alliances Associate of Insight Investments Management Company, Dewi Astari as Secretary of the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development, and Rosafina Irene Muvida as a representative from Fundtastic.
In his remarks, Reyhan Adinugraha as Retail Sales, Distribution and Business Alliances Associate of Insight Investments Management said,
“Today Insight Investments Management Company in cooperation with YIIM provided basic necessities, prayer equipment, iftar packages, and opened a haircut service at the Rahmansyah Orphanage. Since the beginning, the founder of Insight Investments Management Company has always wanted to contribute in society by setting aside the company’s income for people in need. The hope is that with the implementation of today’s social activities, the students here will be more active in learning, in terms of nutrition, they will be more persevering in their worship, and become national pride students.”
Dewi Astari as secretary of the Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development gave her speech,
“Thank you to the Rahmansyah Orphanage for accepting our visit. The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development engaged in the social sector. We are working with INSIGHT appointed to manage CSR funds, one of which is that these funds are channeled to provide compensation to the Rahmansyah Orphanage. Our foundation also focuses on fostering the community from community empowerment. It is hoped that after graduating from school, they can transfer their knowledge to the environment in the village and its surroundings. We hope that the assistance we provide will be useful and will be used by all younger siblings for worship and daily activities.”
Rosafina Irene Muvida as a representative from Fundtastic also conveyed,
“Implementation of Ramadan social activities today is a form of the company’s concern for orphans and underprivileged people. We hope that the distribution of iftar packages, worship equipment, and basic food packages will benefit all younger siblings and can be used as well as possible.”
Mr. Haris as the caretaker of the Rahmansyah Orphanage in his remarks expressed his gratitude and gratitude for the assistance that had been given by YIIM and INSIGHT.
“On behalf of the management, I would like to thank YIIM and INSIGHT for the assistance. And also thank you for giving spirit to our children. Hopefully YIIM and INSIGHT will be given ease in their affairs, be blessed with sustenance, and be given health.”
The Ramadhan Blessing Assistance Program is part of a series of Ramadan programs in the year of 2023 with the theme “Spreading Inspiration in the Holy Month of Ramadan” and is planned to be held in the Jabodetabek area, namely in the DKI Jakarta province, Depok City, Bekasi Regency, Bogor Regency, and South Tangerang. Where various forms of activities have carried out include; sharing iftar packages, takjil, compensation, groceries, worship equipment, free washing and air conditioning services at mosques and orphanages, and free haircuts.
YIIM as a non-profit organization is open to support and collaboration with any party thus more and more people will benefit from YIIM’s programs and wider inspiration can be spread by YIIM in order to help developing Indonesia.
