The Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) in cooperation with Insight Investments Managemet Company has a community economic empowerment program that aims to improve the community’s economy and create a successful entrepreneurial community for the welfare of their lives.
From this program, one of the alumni of the coffee barista training was held by the Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development (YIIM) and Insight Investments Management Company (INSIGHT) in the year of 2020 namely Fransisca Natalia P.S. or commonly called Sisca (40 years). After participating in the training, Sisca has successfully opened a coffee shop business, namely “Sasca Coffee Shop”, which has been running since 2020. Furthermore, in 2023 Sisca has 3 branches of her coffee shop. Finally, her coffee shop also has the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
Opening a New Branch and Holding Training
Currently, Sisca has opened a 2nd branch, namely at Sampan Bujana Sentra Menteng. In early 2023, Sisca will expand her business by opening a 3rd branch in Cimanggis. Just like the second branch in Menteng, Sisca’s business in cooperation with a restaurant, namely Ranup Resto Aceh. While running the business, Sisca did not only run the business, but Sisca also opened training to become a barista.
Sisca has conducted barista training for 2 batches which each batch run for three days. The first batch was attended by 6 participants and the second batch was attended by 8 people. The fee of this training was IDR 800,000. With this price the participants get knowledge and a 1x meal package. In this training Sisca taught the basics of being a barista, using coffee tools, and making various kinds of coffee drinks.
Collaboration with KEMNAKER BBPVP Bekasi to Hold Training After holding training at her coffee shop, Sisca collaborated with the Ministry of Manpower (KEMNAKER) of the Bekasi Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) to conduct training. The beginning of this collaboration was when one of the visitors, namely the head of the Bekasi Ministry of Manpower training center, visited the restaurant and monitored the training held by Sisca. Then after talking about the training system and so on, he said that Sisca could submit a proposal for training. “There was one of the diners at the restaurant who saw my training program. He just so happened to be the head of the training hall. He asked how the system was, and others. He said if for example the submission could. It’s just that because they’re a training center, the concept of training has to be the same as theirs. The training program offered later is preneur barista. Later there will be a calculation of HPP, overall coffeeshop management. After attending the training, you will not only be a worker, but also open a business, even if it’s small.” Sisca said. Finally, Sisca took the opportunity, because according to her this was an opportunity that should not be missed. Finally, at the beginning of 2023, Sisca started working on paperwork for submitting training programs. To cooperate, Sisca must have a legal entity. Finally, Sisca made management under the name CV. Sasca Bermasa Inspirasi.
After waiting for 3 months, Sisca finally collaborated with the Bekasi Ministry of Labor and Education, the Vocational and Productivity Training Center (BBPVP) for one year. The program run by Sisca will last for 20 days for 1 batch of training. Sisca made this training program in accordance with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKNNI) set by
Ministry of Manpower. Participants who take part will receive a BNSP certificate and participants will carry out job training. Currently, 1 batch of training has been held in April which was attended by 16 participants.
Becoming a Coffeeshop Business Consultant Sisca is currently growing, currently she is trusted by many people to become a business consultant in the coffee sector. This service has been run by Sisca since late 2022. Starting from her closest friend who wanted to ask for advice to open a business. Finally, Sisca taught her friend from the basics to the establishment of the cafe. “Initially, as a consultant, a friend asked me how to open a coffee business. Until finally became a coffee business consultant. Starting from coffee shops to cafes too. Finally, I also paid for the service at the price of a friend. Now it’s not just my friends, but many people from acquaintances who also want me to be their business consultant. I visit his place of business; I teach business management too.” She conveyed. Currently Sisca is holding several projects that are still in the process stage. Sisca has also become a consultant for businesses in various regions, starting from Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, to Purwokerto. Opening a business other than coffee.
Until now, Sisca is still learning and continues to be enthusiastic in running the business and work that is currently being occupied. Not only in the coffee business, Sisca also accepts orders for snack boxes and rice boxes. This business was assisted by her husband who previously had experience in the F&B field.
