The Foundation of Inspiration for Indonesia Development or known as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) held a celebration commemorating 11 years of dedication to community empowerment on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at the Kelimutu Hall, Sotis Hotel, Jakarta. The event also marked a significant milestone for the foundation with the Leadership Transition Ceremony, symbolizing the regeneration of leadership to continue the foundation’s vision and mission.
The celebration carried the theme “11 Years of Inspiring”, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and consistency with which the foundation has supported communities through its core programs in Empowerment, Education, Social-Humanitarian and Religious Affairs, and Environmental Sustainability. For over a decade, YIIM has reached more than 100,000 beneficiaries across Indonesia.
The event was attended by founders, board of trustees, supervisory board members, donors, strategic partners, volunteers, and beneficiaries. In his remarks, the Chairperson for the 2019–2024 term, Mr. Chrisbiantoro, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the shared journey during his tenure. He officially handed over the leadership to the newly appointed Chairperson for the 2025–2030 term, Mr. Normansyah Kusuma. “This 11-year journey has been filled with challenges and invaluable lessons. I believe that under new leadership, YIIM will continue to grow and expand its impact,” stated Mr. Chrisbiantoro in his speech.
In his inaugural address, Mr. Normansyah emphasized the importance of maintaining commitment to advancing, strengthening, and adapting the foundation’s initiatives to remain relevant and impactful amid the evolving times. “Together with the team, I will uphold the spirit of collaboration and integrity that has long been the cornerstone of YIIM,” he affirmed. The event featured a traditional rice cone (tumpeng) cutting ceremony, the launch of a souvenir perfume product created by alumni of the 2024 Perfume Training led by Andi Yogie Supardi, and concluded with a group photo. A heartfelt and warm atmosphere filled the room during the farewell and welcoming of the new chairperson, accompanied by a video presentation highlighting the foundation’s 11-year journey. This celebration is expected to mark a new chapter in strengthening the foundation’s commitment to continue serving as an inspiration in building the nation.
