The Foundation for Inspiration of Indonesia Development or in Bahasa called as Yayasan Inspirasi Indonesia Membangun (YIIM) is supported by Limited Liability Company (PT) Insight Investments Management through one of its flagship programs, by providing educational scholarships. This is a form of commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Number 4, namely quality education and ensuring equitable education and supporting learning opportunities for all.

YIIM together with INSIGHT at this time would like to present the profile of the recipient of the educational scholarship, namely Aulia Syahfitriani or who is familiarly called Aulia. Aulia is a 5th (five) semester student of the Broadcasting Department, Interstudi College of Communication Studies. Aulia received educational scholarships from YIIM and INSIGHT since 1 (first) academic year. In the academic year of 2022, she got Academic Achievement Index (IPK) 3,88.

After graduated from Senior High School (SMA), she could not continue her education to college because of economic difficulty faced by her family. To seek better future life and also she want to help her parent, she refuse to give up and she decided to seek scholarship.

Aulia is an only child, she does not have any siblings. Her father is a musician worker with no certain income. During pandemic Covid 19, her father face very difficult economic situation and more than one year her father only stay at home, no job and no invitation as usual to play music because of the pandemic. Meanwhile, Aulia’s mother is a social worker and does not have enough sallary to pay the college tuition of Aulia.

Awarded educational scholarsip from YIIM and INSIGHT, therefore Aulia does not waste the opportunity to develop her capacity and capability to seek better future life.

She participates in many activities both in the University as well as  outside the University. In the university, Aulia is the Head Division 1 of Student Association of Interstudy University. Moreover, she is frequently trusted to be a host or moderator at various social activities organized by the University, one of the activities is organized under the Student Unit Activity (UKM) Cinematography of the University of Interstudy. She is also actively involved in student activities and also a member of Radio Interadio of the University. Whereas Aulia’s activity outside of the University is that for instance she involved in a talent of national television (TVRI), in particular in the event of commemorating the Youth Pledge Day and also the Day of National Hero.

Apart from being active in the University, she also has high social awareness and has been involved in several social activities held by YIIM and INSIGHT. One of them is involved in collecting reading books for children in slum areas and schools in remote areas. This is a form of Aulia’s dedication to play a role in helping education in Indonesia.

Aulia together with the PT Interstudi HIPMI organization supported by BKKBN and Telkom carried out the “Friends of SDGs” community service for villages in the Cianjur area, West Java. This activity aims to build a village into a digital village and help in terms of business opportunity incubators.

Aulia is currently doing an internship at Global Radio Jakarta, as an Assistant Producer. This 21-year-old girl has a dream to become a TV presenter, she expects to make her parents happy and also be useful for those around her. In addition, Aulia also hopes to continue to be involved in every social activity along with YIIM and INSIGHT.

Aulia also expressed her hopes for YIIM and INSIGHT :

“Thank you to YIIM and INSIGHT for trusting me for the educational scholarship assistance provided. The scholarship assistance from YIIM and INSIGHT has become a bridge for me to achieve my goals. Hopefully, through the assistance of inspiration scholarships, YIIM and INSIGHT will continue to spread kindness and inspiration to disadvantaged communities throughout Indonesia who really want to continue their education but are constrained by the economy.”

In realizing the dream of the younger generation and to have a better future life, YIIM as a non profit organization is open to anyone who wants to support the program of providing educational scholarships for smart children who are economically disadvantaged.
